In order to know if you have worked step seven properly, simply answer the following question:
Am I now willing to have God remove all of my defects of character, and have I said the 7th step prayer?
If the answer is no, you have not yet completed step seven.
If the answer is yes, you are free to move on to step eight!

Now read Chapter 6, Into Action from page 76, line 15 through page 82 in the Big Book and Step 8 in the 12 & 12
